About Us

NSJ Events specializes in delivering unique event experiences throughout Austin and Central Texas.

Nish Shariff-Jindani, Owner and Principal Event Coordinator at NSJ Events, has over 15 years of experience coordinating corporate and community events. She has expertly managed and executed a wide array of projects , including one of North Austin's most successful fundraisers, large international festivals and district-wide activities for student organizations and clubs.

Nish embraces the vibrant heart of the Austin community, and enthusiastically utilizes her executive level-experience and avid attention to detail when overseeing a project from inception to completion. As an active and involved member of the community, Nish believes in partnering with  local vendors to enhance your event, including photographers, musicians, DJ's, decorators, florists and more.

Tejal Sahasrabudhe, ​Event Planning 
Tejal is an active mom of two who moved from the Midwest to Austin and is an integral member of the NSJ team. Her warmth and professional aptitude is coupled with years of experience in managing  large-scale cultural productions. Tejal's industry experience is well-rounded with international conferences, corporate and association events, award banquets, galas, and fundraisers.

Chris Cox, ​Photography
Chris is an Austin transplant originally from Louisiana.  He loves using the camera to journal the timeless emotions, expressions, and Kodak moments of events as well as to capture the magnificent landscape and unique elements of event venues. When not working with the NSJ team, Chris can be found drifting back and forth between Austin and Louisiana, spending time with his lovely wife, Heather, and their children and photographing friends, family, weddings and events all along the way.

Sharon O'Connell, ​Websites & Social Media
Combining am affinity for technology and design with extensive corporate, volunteer, and non-profit experience, Sharon provides website, social media, and online support for NSJ Events.  Whether your project requires online promotional support, participant registration, volunteer sign-ups or sharing of photos, videos, and results, Sharon will work diligently as part of your NSJ team to identify and implement the technology solutions that help insure streamlined operation and success of your event.

Vivian Wied, ​Marketing & Sponsorships
For clients that retain NSJ to organize their community events, promotions, and/or fundraisers, Vivian provides assistance on the marketing and sponsorship front to help maximize awareness, attendance and participation.  As with the rest of NSJ team, Vivian combines years of corporate and community marketing and sponsorship experience to help insure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing and sponsor development efforts associated with your event.
